My heart doctor request that I do the nuclear stress test, I don't like that test, will a cardiac ct scan show him what he is wanting to see about my heart?

My internist ordered a cardiac CT scan after thallium stress test showing some irregularities. Since I have a very strong history of breast cancer in my family, I'm wondering if it would be better for me to have a low-dose cardiac CT scan. Thanks!
