Desert Medical Imaging (DMI) is a multimodality diagnostic imaging center. Three DMI affiliate MRI centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology. DMI started providing services to the Coachella Valley in September 1998, at its Indian Wells, California, location, and now provides services not only in Indian Wells, but also in Indio and Palm Springs.

John Feller, MD currently is Medical Director of DMI, The PET Center, Desert Medical Imaging of Indio and Desert Medical Imaging of Palm Springs, and is the MRI Consulting Radiologist for Desert Orthopedic Center. He maintains an academic affiliation with Stanford University where he is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology (1991-present). Also part of DMI's team is John G. Dalle, D.O. & Christian Neumann, M.D., PhD.

DMI provides high field and open magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), spiral computed tomography (CT) imaging, ultrasound, and positron emission tomography (PET) imaging.
