EPIC Imaging is the Portland metro area’s largest and most technologically advanced outpatient imaging facility. Our centers feature all major MRI types including high field short bore scanners, Open scanners, the only FONAR Open-Upright scanner in the state and specially designed units for breast MRI. In addition, EPIC houses advanced ultrasound technology, 64-slice CT scanners and a complete nuclear medicine department including the first high definition PET/CT scanner in Oregon. Our comprehensive breast imaging practice includes digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and the latest in molecular breast imaging with Positron Emission Mammography (PEM) and Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI)*.

Radiologists are medical doctors who have chosen to specialize in the field of imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The most important task of the radiologist is to interpret the images acquired from our advanced technology and combine that information with the clinical findings of your doctor. We commonly refer to this process as a "reading." The goal of the reading is to provide your physician with a clearer picture of what is happening inside your body.
All EPIC radiologists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology which means they have completed a radiology residency and examinations as well as maintaining ongoing educational programs. In addition, many of our radiologists hold advanced fellowships in subspecialties like neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, abdominal imaging, women's imaging, head and neck, etc.

EPIC Imaging East and EPIC Imaging West offer all major imaging modalities in a relaxed outpatient environment. For almost 50 years, physicians throughout Oregon have chosen EPIC more than any other outpatient center for their patients’ imaging needs. Our areas of practice include comprehensive breast imaging, obstetric imaging, nuchal translucency, fertility, pelvic floor disorders and incontinence, oncology imaging, musculoskeletal, advanced cardiac imaging, ENT, neuroradiology and varicose vein treatment.
