Procedures & Services

Early Disease Detection

While the annual physical is still important, the Virtual Physical'sTM early detection capability can uncover asymptomatic and often life-threatening diseases generally not detectable by physical exam or standard screening tests. This allows the management of disease in early stages, where medical therapy and treatment options are typically less costly, less invasive and more effective.

A 3-Dimensional Journey Through Your Body

Virtual Physical'sTM comprehensive scan of your body is significantly more detailed than an X-ray. It covers: the heart and arteries, identifying near microscopic amounts of plaque; the lungs at the air cell level showing the earliest stages of smoke damage, emphysema or lung cancer; the spine, evaluating for osteoporosis, disc disease and other back problems; internal organs for detection of tumors, stones and cysts of all sizes; aneurysms in the abdominal and chest cavities; thyroid and parathyroid disease; joint disease; uterine, ovarian and prostate disease.

Analysis by a Board Certified Radiologist

Once your Virtual PhysicalTM is completed, a Board Certified Radiologist will review it with you, noting any problems that may require further evaluation. You'll receive a written analysis from the Radiologist, a CD-ROM of your entire Virtual PhysicalTM and selected photographs of your scan. Your data is stored electronically in our data base to assess your current health and track it into the future.

Your Results

The Virtual PhysicalTM data can be easily sent to your personal physician or a specialist for additional evaluation and treatment. Most importantly, this type of tracking will allow you and your doctor to optimally manage any illness to more effectively alter or reverse its course.
