I have a amplatzer occluder in my heart, not sure what the material is. Am I able to get an MRI breast biopsy done?

I have no history of cancer of any type in my family. There is a pea-shaped mass in my right breast that is extremely hard to locate. My breasts have always been fibrous. I have breast fed one child, and had a shot on the first one.

Should MRI technology be used over traditional methods in high-risk patients?

I have a family history of breast cancer, and want to be as proactive as possible with my own health. Are MRI scans more accurate than mammograms? And if something is found, is an MRI breast biopsy preferable to an open biopsy?
