Would a brain scan unveil possible signs of peripheral neuropathy, or is there a more accurate test to see if this condition exists?

My cardiologist did a doplar test and found poor circulation in right brain and left lower leg. He believes this is due to peripheral neuropathy (I'm not diabetic). All muscular/nerve symptoms etc are on left side of my body. Any suggestions?

I just had an MRI/MRA and was given a CD with the images. I'm waiting to hear the results but I noticed a bright white spot in the back of my head which was the reason for my scan. In these images the rest of my brain is dark. should I worry?

Is it possible to have both a full, comprehensive heart scan and a full abdominal or body scan with an MRI, instead of a CT scan, that is just as reliable, if not more so than the CT scan? I want to avoid the radiation of the CT, but want accuracy.
