What's in a Name?

As a patient (or a doctor) do you care about the name of the company that supplies the products used in your treatment? Many people wouldn't think twice about the name of their medical supply providers but the fact of the matter is that we make automatic assumptions about a product or business because of the name associated with it. Perhaps that's why brain scan software provider Kyron Clinical Imaging has decided to change its name. The company will now be called by the much more image-producing name Prism Clinical Imaging. Whether or not this impacts their business is yet to be seen but it has teh potential to communicate the company's vision in a new way. Question of the Day: Would you be more inclined to use brain imaging software marketed under the name Kyron or Prism? photo link
