Are there non-invasive heart and artery scans?

I am looking for the most accurate scan for checking the heart and the arteries for narrowing because of plaque or blockage, but without risk of radiation such as with CT scans. It needs to be low cost or covered under the affordable care act for insurance.

The scan that we do, is a CT scan of the heart which does provide you with a Cardiac Calcium Score Report. That report does give you a picture and an assessment of the risk factor of the amount of blockage and build-up within your arteries. Unfortunately because we are a screening process, we do not participate with any insurance and therefore the cost would be out of pocket for you. However with that being said, we are willing to work with out patients to make payment plans should they need to, but we also take CareCredit, all major credit cards, cash, and checks.
